
Valentino Bianchi was born in Rome, Italy, where he currently lives after several years spent abroad . He is a reportage and portrait photographer specialized in analog photography. He begun taking photographs when he was very young, but he tooks the medium of photography seriously only when he discovered the practical nature of the work behind the process of developing and printing of black and white photographs: what are now called "traditional" printing methods.
He is currently working on two long-term reportages, one in Serbia and another in Palermo, At the same time, he keeps documenting the daily life of people living in the city of Rome, particularly in the Trastevere district, in collaboration with the local newspaper "Il Ventriloco"
