Valentino Bianchi was born in Rome, Italy.
After several years spent abroad as a reportage and portrait photographer he has specialized in analog photography. He begun taking photographs when he was very young, but he tooks the medium of photography seriously only when he discovered the practical nature of the work behind the process of developing and printing of black and white photographs: what are now called "traditional" printing methods.
Since 2019 he moved in Paris where he got interested with the commercial and fashion photography, while working on personal projects in his dark room.
He is currently working on two long-term reportages, one in Serbia and another in Palermo, At the same time, he keeps documenting the daily life of people living in the city of Rome, particularly in the Trastevere district.
